Abstract:Compression pressure exertion is strongly related to mechanical properties of compression socks deployed with various type of materials and machine adjustments. These socks work on the principle of highest pressure at the ankle and gradually decrease towards the calf portion. Compression socks are used for the prophylaxis and treatment of venous disorders.
