Study on the cardboard behavior during the vacuum picking process in automatic pantyhose packaging machine

Abstract: This study presents a use case of Finite Element Method and comparative experimental studies on a subproblem in packaging machines. The variables in the vacuum picking system including baffle height, back pressure and friction between sheets are evaluated through simulations and experiments. It is found that baffle height, back pressure F and friction between sheets are all critical in successful operation of vacuum picking cardboards from in-feed magazine.
