“…1 However, the advantages and disadvantages of the property of PP foam materials are closely related to the structure of the cell (cell size, density), which results in the preparation of lightweight PP foams with high density, uniform and fine cell sizes have been the focus of researchers. [2][3][4] However, PP foam is a flammable material that releases large amounts of heat and toxic gases during the combustion process, which has simultaneously limited the wide application of PP foams in various fields. Hence, effective flameretardant modification of PP materials and the study of the relationship between cell structure and the flame-retardant properties of PP foams are of great practical significance for expanding its applications.…”

“…Polypropylene (PP) foam materials have attracted wide attention in the fields of aerospace equipment, medical devices, automotive supplies, and so forth, due to their unique advantages in lightweight, cushioning, thermal insulation, and sound insulation 1 . However, the advantages and disadvantages of the property of PP foam materials are closely related to the structure of the cell (cell size, density), which results in the preparation of lightweight PP foams with high density, uniform and fine cell sizes have been the focus of researchers 2–4 . However, PP foam is a flammable material that releases large amounts of heat and toxic gases during the combustion process, which has simultaneously limited the wide application of PP foams in various fields.…”
