Study on the gas sensitivity of vanadium-doped molybdenum disulfide to mustard gas

Abstract: As a graphene-like material, molybdenum disulfide has similar properties to graphene, but due to its excellent properties such as adjustable band gap, molybdenum disulfide has a broader application in many aspects (such as gas sensors). With the deepening of research, molybdenum disulfide cannot fully meet the needs of researchers due to defects and other reasons. Therefore, researches on doping and compounding of molybdenum disulfide have gradually attracted attention. At present, most of the research on gas … Show more

“…They found that, by reducing the thickness of the MoS 2 NSs and increasing the doping amount of metal atoms, the sensing performance of the MoS 2 NSs-based gas sensor will gradually improve. We have prepared pure MoS 2 NSs by CVD before and tested the gas-sensing performance of its based gas sensors for sarin and sulfur mustard ( Wang Y. et al, 2020 ; Wang H. et al, 2020 ). The experimental results show that the pure MoS 2 NSs-based gas sensors also have a certain gas-sensing performance for sarin and sulfur mustard at room temperature.…”
