“…The reaction of volatile components is completed in the component transport equation of the main phase, in which S HCN , S NO , and S CO are customized source terms. The S HCN reaction rate is determined by the combustion reaction rate and Equations (34) and (37). The S NO reaction rate is determined by Equations ( 34), (37) and (39), and the reaction rate of S CO is determined only by the rate of the combustion reaction.…”

“…However, its fixed carbon and calorific value are lower, which makes it more possible to emit NOx during co--disposal. Shimizu et al [8] suggested that ash in sludge combustion promoted NOx production, Some authors [9] suggested that sludge feeding amount, sludge particle size, cement raw material and its composition, and additive species played an important role in NOx removal. Lv et al [10] suggested that NH3 released from sludge increased the NH3 content in the decomposer and had a facilitating effect on the reduction of NO.…”

“…Some gas products can be used as reducing agent to reduce the NO X (Werle S 2012). Xiang Xiao et al systematically studied the use of sludge as denitrification agent in cement industry using a selfmade laboratory-scale fluidized bed reactor and showed that sludge is an effective NOx reducing agent (Xiao et al 2020;Ye et al 2020). When the sludge dosage is 0.75g/min, the sludge particle size is 0.18-0.25mm and the combustion temperature is 900℃, the NO x removal rate can reach 70.36 ± 3.59% in cement kiln.…”
