Study on the synthesis of porphyrin-modified copper ferrite as photocatalyst for treatment of MB organic dye in aqueous media

Abstract: This work aims to modify the copper ferrite with a porphyrin derivatives by a simple method of self-assembly. The resultant porphyrin-modified copper ferrite was utilized as a photocatalyst for the removal of methyl blue dyes (MB) from aqueous solution. The results showed that the porphyrin nanofibers were well-intergrated with the copper ferrite nanoparticles.
