Study on Thermal Simulation of LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4/Li4Ti5O12 Battery

Abstract: A thermal simulation model is developed to analyze the thermal behavior of the lithium‐ion battery. This model precisely considers the thermal properties of battery materials, including cathode, anode, and electrolyte. The LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO)/Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) battery is modeled for the first time, and the accuracy is verified by an experimental battery test.
