Studying the physicochemical regularities in the color- and phase formation processes of clinker ceramic materials

Abstract: Представленi результати комплексних дослiджень, спрямованих на розробку рецептурно-технологiчних параметрiв отримання об'ємно забарвлених клiнкерних керамiчних матерiалiв широкої кольорової гами. Доведена можливiсть отримання керамiчного клiнкеру при використаннi полiмiнеральної глинистої сировини за температури 1,000 °С. Показана доцiльнiсть замiни у складi мас високовартiсних керамiчних пiгментiв техногенними матерiалами, що мiстять оксиди металiв змiнної валентностi: вiдходами видобування лужно-земельних сi… Show more

“…The phase composition of black ceramic bricks after sintering (Fig. 4) is represented mainly by quartz SiO 2 , microcline KAlSi 3 O 8 , mullite Al 6 Si 2 O 13 , residues of biotite K(Mg, Fe) 3 [Si 3 AlO 10 ][OH, F] 2 , as well as hematite α-Fe 2 O 3 and hausmannite Mn 3 O 4 , which is consistent with the studies' results [13]. Unlike low-temperature porcelain [14], clinker ceramics contains only small amounts of mullite, but its presence indicates the completeness of the sintering process.…”
