Subcellular Neural Probes from Single-Crystal Gold Nanowires

Abstract: Size reduction of neural electrodes is essential for improving the functionality of neuroprosthetic devices, developing potent therapies for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, and long-term brain–computer interfaces.
