Abstract:Background
Cirrhosis is associated with chronic cardiovascular dysfunction termed cirrhotic cardiomyopathy (CCM), characterized by myocardial hypertrophy and diastolic dysfunction. Objective: This study aims to evaluate left ventricular systolic function in cirrhotic patients undergoing liver transplantation using speckle-tracking echocardiography.
