Abstract:CASE REPORTwhile the patient was in a sitting position. After a day of CPAP use in the hospital, the patient was discharged home, and CPAP was continued as above. The patient accepted and tolerated it very well, and there was no other episode of respiratory distress. 6 CPAP avoided many aggressive and traumatizing procedures like tracheostomy, laryngotracheal resection, and repetitive need for interventional bronchoscopic procedures.
