Subscapularis Repair

Abstract: Subscapularis is largest muscle of the rotator cuff. It is important component of shoulder joint for necessary of unimpaired shoulder movements. Since past decade subscapularis tears are recognized as source of pain and dysfunction of shoulder joint. New diagnostic techniques and arthroscopic repair surgeries help to treat subscapularis tears. This article provides an overview of types of tear, diagnostic methods and treatment options.
