Subtle activism: Heterotopic principles for unsettling contemporary academia from within

Abstract: Research on academic activism tends to foreground vociferous and explicit forms of activism that pursue predefined political agendas. Against this backdrop, this article proposes that academic activism can take more subtle forms.
