Successful Pregnancy in a Case of Congenital Adrenogenital Syndrome

Abstract: This paper describes a typical patient with congenital adrenogenital syndrome who conceived following cortisone treatment and was delivered recently of a normal female infant by caesarean section. In this particular patient the signs of virilisatwn became manifested as late as 14 years. As far as we are aware, this is perhaps the first paper where serial steroidal analyses during prenatal and lactational amenorrhoea lasting up to eight months are reported.
