Suppurative otitis media after tympanostomy tube placement

Abstract: In cases of suppurative otitis media after implantation of tympanostomy tubes, the secret should be treated with suction and after that antibiotic drops should be applied during 5 to 7 days. If suppuration is persistent, drops should be used with oral antibiotics.
