Abstract:The cover picture shows the honeycomb structure formed by π-π stacking of homoleptic octahedral Ni II complexes of the "large-surface" ligand 1,12-diazaperylene (dap), [Ni(dap) 3 ](BF 4 ) 2 (Ni red, N green, C dark yellow, B blue, F light yellow). The [Ni(dap) 3 ] 2ϩ cation and one of the BF 4Ϫ counterions form parallel nanosized channels (ca. 9.60 Å in diameter), which run along the crystallographic c axis and are filled with the other disordered BF 4 Ϫ counterion (omitted for clarity). The C 3 symmetry of [N… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
