“Supreme” an Early Segment High-Yielding Pea Variety

Abstract: Average low yield in pea is associated with low yielder varieties for early segment in comparison with normal and late segment lines. Early segment varieties are short stature and have less no of pods. Supreme an early segment high yielding variety is developed that can be helpful in the increase of average per acre yield in Pakistan. ‘Supreme’ is an indigenous pea (Pisum sativum L.) variety developed through hybridization.
