“…However, in practice, the photocurrent density of as-prepared Fe2O3 photoanodes is lower than 3 mA cm −2 . This is mostly attributed to the low mobility of carriers (<0.1 cm 2 V −1 s −1 ) [7] and the sluggish oxygen evolution reaction (OER) kinetics, which are affected by the surface states [8,9]. The PEC performance of Fe2O3 could be improved by using nanostructured Fe2O3 [10,11] and foreign element doping [12].…”

“…The objectives of our study are to study the effect of adding sand into paraffin mixture with respect to the thermal performance of the PCM, especially for the supercooling degree, charging and discharging rate (time and temperature range). When the all thermal performance is obtained, it can be used as specific reference for the application of PCM in thermal storage application [24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31].…”

“…Herein, we have explored fluorination of SnO 2 film via a simple, solution-based treatment using an electrophilic fluorinating agent, Selectfluor (F-TEDA). Most of the fluorinating agents used regularly are nucleophilic, with F – as the active reacting species, while electrophilic fluorinating agents have recently emerged as a new class of molecules that are safe to handle, efficient, and cost-effective. The fluorination of SnO 2 , optimized to restrict to low percentages (<1%), produced excellent responses for VOCs even at moderate temperatures while keeping the sensing element transparent. A fast recovery of such an areal transparent sensor was aided by a UV pulse.…”
