Euclea (Ebenaceae) is a genus of flowering shrubs and trees widely distributed in Africa, the Comoro Islands, and Arabia. This review aimed to evaluate the ethnobotanical uses, phytochemistry, and biological activities of the genus Euclea on available research reports. This was achieved through PubMed, Medline, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Taylor and Francis Online, Wiley Online Library which provides access to scientific and medical research. The extensive literature survey revealed that plants that belong to this genus are used as folkloric medicine for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, toothache, diarrhea, cancer, malaria, leprosy, and genital and oral diseases in the case of HIV/AIDS-related diseases. To date, more than 40 secondary metabolites have been isolated and identified from these plants, especially from E natalensis and E. divinorum. Among these, naphthoquinones, terpenes, and flavonoids are potential secondary metabolites with profound biological activities. Euclea plant extracts and their bioactive compounds possess outstanding pharmacological properties, especially antimalarial, antidiabetic, anticancer, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.

parks are essential places to build a sense of community pertinence. Agfriendly parks encourage safety, a sense of belonging, and increasing social participation. The study targets to achieve inclusive and senior-friendly parks. Also, the researcher's direct observation and the focused interviews were conducted with 80 park visitors. The checklist was prepared to fulfill the study's goal. The study's outcomes referred that the results of the evaluation of both the researcher and visitors were fairly close. Finally, Age-friendly parks achieve human diversity, well-being, and social inclusion. Further, an agefriendly community is welcoming to all people, not merely 'elders friendly'.:Statement of the problem: The research issue lies in the actuality that societal exclusion of classes of people, such as older people, which leads to their hardship in dealing with the urban environment and parks as well. Thus, designing societies and parks with the standards of age-friendliness enables all society members integrating and engaged considerably.: Importance of the research: The importance of this study exemplifies in an "age-friendly" community can benefit all people of different ages and abilities. Also, by deigning parks and communities in light of age-friendly guidelines that encourage older persons to socialize, thus achieving social sustainability.
