Abstract: Key Clinical MessageThis is a challenging case where the surgeon has initially thought it is a gallbladder (GB) mucocele. The surprise finding of a mucocele during an emergency laparotomy highlights the deceptive nature of certain clinical manifestations within the hepatobiliary domain.
