High-tech companies are rapidly growing in the world. Research and development (hereafter R&D) department strength is the main asset that allows a firm to achieve a competitive advantage in high-tech businesses. The allocated budget to this sector is finite; thus, integration, human resource, risk and budget limitations should be considered to choose the most valuable project in the best portion of time. This paper investigates a case study from a high-tech company in Iran to prioritize the most attractive technologies for the R&D department. The case consists of twenty three technology options and the goal is to find the most attractive projects to sort them out for implementation in the R&D department. In this research, scholars proposed the best-worst method (henceforth BWM) to find the weight of the criteria of the attractive technologies in first step and utilize the newly developed method total area based on orthogonal vectors (henceforward TAOV) to sort the selected technologies based upon the identified criteria. Project integration is one of the least-noticed subjects in scientific papers; therefore, the researchers presented a zero or one linear programming (ZOLP) model to optimize and schedule the implementation procedure on the project risk, budget and time limitation simultaneously. The results indicate that starting few but attractive projects in the first years and postponing the rest to the future, helps a firm to manage funds and gain profit with the least amount of risk.

Although the importance of corporate social responsibility has received more attention over the years, the goal of social sustainability has still not been achieved. The main reason is that companies seeking to implement social sustainability, have failed to incorporate the concept of corporate social responsibility into their corporate internal control objectives. Furthermore, studying the interactive relationship between corporate social responsibility and internal control and ensuring the consistency of corporate strategy and internal control objectives are done to help promote the sustainable development of enterprises. In order to promote social sustainability and improve management decision-making gaps, therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop a new hybrid multi-attribute decision model to assess the impact of corporate social responsibility for the implementation of internal control that includes corporate social responsibility. The empirical results show that a social responsibility-oriented internal control system may be a better strategy than maintaining the original internal control objectives. In addition, by adjusting the internal control system to jointly promote the sustainable development goals of the company and ensure the consistency of corporate strategy and internal control objectives, the company can be truly guided to implement the social responsibility management objectives. Finally, the social sustainable development goals can be truly realized, and the interests of all stakeholders in the enterprise can be truly satisfied.

RESUMEN-La selección de tecnologías es un tópico que se articula con el área de la ingeniería llamada gestión o administración tecnológica, cuya finalidad es estudiar y proponer las mejores prácticas de selección de bienes tecnológicos bajo criterios que optimicen los recursos empresariales, por lo que el objetivo principal de este artículo es realizar una revisión de literatura sobre los métodos de selección de tecnología, enumerando los más conocidos y ejemplificando algunos de estos, donde se presente su eficacia. La metodología utilizada en esta búsqueda fue una revisión en diferentes bases de datos con el fin de recopilar casos de estudio y de éxito, así como fusión entre diferentes métodos y puntos de vista. Dicha revisión y la búsqueda permitieron recopilar y clasificar estos métodos, no obstante, ningún método es infalible o indispensable, ya que siempre hará falta la experiencia del análisis heurístico. ABSTRACT-The selection of technologies is a topic that is articulated with the area of engineering called management of technology, whose purpose is to study and propose the best practices of selection of technological goods under criteria that optimize business resources, so the main objective of this article is to carry out a literary review on the selection methods, enumerating the best known methods and exemplifying some of these and their effectiveness. The methodology used in this search was a revision in different databases in order to collect cases of study and success, as well as a fusion between different methods and points of view. This revision and the search allowed to compile and classify these methods, however, no method is infallible or indispensable, since the experience of the heuristic analysis will always be needed.
