Abstract:In these proceedings I review the status of flavour physics beyond the Standard Model. While the LHC did not directly observe any new particles yet, LHCb, BELLE and BABAR found intriguing hints for the violation of lepton flavour universality and also the measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon can be interpreted as a sign of such a violation. In addition, recent lattice results point towards new sources of CP violation in ε /ε. I discuss how these hints for new physics can be explained within… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
