Swarm Superintelligence and Actor Systems

Abstract: There are different types and levels of intelligence in general and swarm intelligence, in particular. In this paper, we explore the transition from swarm intelligence to swarm super intelligence, i.e., to higher levels in the hierarchy of intelligence. While the conventional approach to swarm intelligence presupposes that it emerges in synergetic organization of simple systems such as ants or fish, to achieve super intelligence, it is necessary to unearth synergy in systems of intelligent agents or actors. To… Show more

“…Maybe, when we achieve a "collective mind" by enabling an infinite number of data sources (various CS-data bases) [13], the newest theory which led to the development of swarm intelligence applications. By connecting to a "collective mind" or "collective knowledge" per viam CS, we will be able to share all knowledge and skills from a centralized source [14].…”

“…According to the second ontological principle of the general theory of information, O2 (the General Transformation Principle), information plays the same role in the World of Structures as energy plays in the Physical (material) World [2]. Physicists studied energy much longer than researchers explored information.…”
