Abstract:Typical fault scenarios such as actuator stuck, wingtip damage, and sudden center of gravity change usually bring great challenge to fault-tolerant flight control laws. In this paper, adaptive sliding mode disturbance observer (SMDO) is studied under the background of designing a fault-tolerant flight controller. This paper proposes a switched adaptive SMDO for observation of system uncertainties considering fault accommodation. It consists of two adaptive SMDOs: baseline gain-adaptation SMDO and fault-oriente… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
