Symbol-Level Synchronisation Channel Modelling With Real-World Application: From Davey-Mackay, Fritchman to Markov

Abstract: Errors in realistic channels contain not only substitution errors, but synchronisation errors as well. Moreover, these errors are rarely statistically independent in nature.
