Abstract:The proceedings of the 23rd symposium on Greek and Hellenistic legal history, held in Gmunden/Traunsee in 2022, provide an insight into the current research results from leading representatives of this discipline. The contributions collected in the present volume can be assigned to the thematic blocks of archaic law, problems of Greek statutory law and the law of Gortyn and deal with questions of Greek and Hellenistic private property law and the interdependence of Greek and Roman law.
