Abstract:Malignant ascites (MA) and repeated paracentesis can impair patient’s quality of life (QOL).
The aim was to evaluate changes in patients’ QOL and the safety of MA drainage with a patient-controlled central vascular catheter (CVC) inserted into the abdominal cavity.
