Abstract:We present an innovative complex network of reaction–diffusion systems set in distinct domains, with boundary couplings. The complex network models the evolution of interacting populations living in a heterogeneous and fragmented habitat, whose biological individuals migrate from one patch to another. In our model, the displacements of individuals are described by mixed boundary couplings, involving both the Neumann and Robin boundary conditions, which improve the modeling of migrations by point-wise couplings… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
