Synchronous malignant mixed Müllerian tumor of the uterus with transitional cell carcinoma of the ovary

Abstract: A 55-year-old woman presented with a complaint of post-menopausal bleeding per vaginum. Local examination revealed a mass, protruding from the cervical os, which detached spontaneously. An adnexal mass was felt through the pouch of Douglas on per vaginum examination. Histopathological examination of the avulsed specimen revealed a diagnosis of malignant mixed Müllerian tumor.
