Abstract:PVC waste, after removing contamination (P1), was cross-linked with 1,3-diaminopropane, hexamethylenediamine and 1,4-diaminonaphthalene (P2, P3 and P4). The cross-linked PVC was characterized by FTIR, SEM and CHN elemental analysis. The influence of the type of crosslinking agent on the thermal properties and swelling of PVC was also investigated.
