Synthesis and Complexation Behaviour of Tetrakis[(N,N-diethylamino-carbonyl)methoxy]tetrahomodioxacalix[4]arene
Abstract: O-Alkylation of the flexible tetrahomodioxacalix[4]arene 1 with N,N-diethylchloroacetamide in the presence of NaH, K 2 CO 3 or Cs 2 CO 3 gave only one pure stereoisomer, 1,4-alternate-2, while other possible isomers were not observed.
