Synthesis and insecticidal activity of N-cyano 2-(substituted amino) ethyl methyl sulfoximine derivatives

Abstract: The N-cyano 2-(substituted amino)ethyl methyl sulfoximine derivatives are a new chemical family of neonicotinoids. Nine alkyl sulfoximine derivatives were designed and synthesized. The synthesized compounds were identified by 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, IR, and elemental analysis. The preliminary bioassays indicated that some of them showed moderate insecticidal activities against Myzus persicae. The relationship between structure and biological activity was also discussed.
