Synthesis and Spectroscopic study of some transition metal complexes with 2-(4-Iodo Phenyl Azo)-4,5- Diphenyl Imidazol

Abstract: This work deals with the preparation and identification of azo dye, 2-(4-Iodo phenyl azo)- 4.5-diphenyl imidazole (4-IPAI).The characterization of this ligand was done by elemental analysis is (C.H.N) mass spectra, Uv-vis. and IR techniques. The complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with (4-IPAI) have been prepared.
