Abstract:Three new ligands viz, benzylacetone-enzoylhydrazone [babh (L1)], para-hydroxy-benzylacetone-benzoylhydrazone [p-OH-babh (L2 )] and para-nitrobenzylacetone-benzoylhydrazone [p-NO2 -babh (L3 )], were synthesised by condensation of hydrazides with benzylacetone.
