Abstract:The 2-phenylsulphonamide derivatives of amino acids were synthesis by simple substitution of benzenesulphonylchloride (6) with amino acids (1-5) containing pharmacological active functionalities. Structures of the synthesised compounds (7a-7e) were characterised using FT-IR, NMR(1H, 13C) and elemental analysis.
