Synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties of mesoporous HPMo/SiO2 composite

Abstract: A novel mesoporous HPMo/SiO 2 composite was synthesized by the sol-gel method with triblock copolymer EO 20 PO 70 EO 20 as template. The properties of the product were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, N 2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and inductively-coupled plasma analysis. The experimental results show that the product has a very ordered hexagonal mesostructure, and the HPMo is immobilized into the framework of silica. The final … Show more

“…In this work, their catalytic activity followed the order of K 5 H 2 [FeW 11 VO 40 ] >K 3 [PW 12 O 40 ] >K 4 [SiW 12 O 40 ]. From Table , it is evident that the synthesized FeW 11 V@CTAB‐MMT catalyst could significantly promote the ODS efficiency in comparison with other reported catalysts . The optimum dosage of the FeW 11 V@CTAB‐MMT catalyst also was determined for the ODS of gasoline and RTCs present in simulated fuel with a concentration of 500 ppmw (Table ).…”

“…Starting about fifteen years ago, a novel phosphomolybdic (HPMo)/SiO 2 mesoporous composite was prepared by the sol-gel method, working with 12-phosphomolybdic acid, TEOS and the triblock copolymer EO 20 PO 70 EO 20 (Pluronic P123) as a template [182]. Authors declared that in this compound, the HPMo was highly dispersed inside the silica framework, while maintaining its original Keggin structure.…”
