Abstract:A novel mononuclear Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes of pantoprazole (PA) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR, UV-visible spectral studies, and thermal analysis. The electronic spectra along with magnetic data suggest octahedral geometry for Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes. PA acts as an anionic bi-dentate ligand being coordinated by (S=O) oxygen and benzimdazolyl nitrogen atoms. The interaction of the complexes with calf … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
