Abstract:The use of Schiff bases in material science, therapeutics and sensor has been achieved due to its electrochemical potentials. In this study, Schiff bases of 4-((2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)benzoic acid (G1) and 4-((5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)benzoic acid (G2) were synthesized from 4-aminobenzoic acid.
