Synthesis, Characterization and the gas phase catalytic activity of metal doped nanoporous carbon

Abstract: Metal doped nanoporous carbon(NPC) materials, based on polyfurfuryl alcohol and polyethylene glycol were synthesized using new method. The characterization were carried out using acid-base titration, PXRD, TEM, diffused reflectance FTIR, SEM and mass spectrometer. Their gas phase catalytic activities were checked by passing CO and H2 through the catalysts.
