Abstract:A novel neodymium pentafluoropropionate binuclear complex, Nd(C 2 F 5 COO) 3 Á Phen (Phen: 1,10-phenanthroline), was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, FT-IR spectra, UV-Vis-NIR absorption, and PL spectra. Singlecrystal data show that the complex bears centrosymmetric dinuclear structure with a planar ligand configuration. Four carboxylato groups act as g 2 -chelate-l 2 -carboxylato-k 1 O: k 1 O 0 -bridge-ligands, the other two occupy the terminal position as… Show more
“…Lanthanide complexes have applications as functional materials due to their unique physicochemical properties such as magnetism, electroluminescence, and photoluminescence [290]. The following paper discusses the synthesis by She et al [290] of a novel neodymium pentafluoropropionate binuclear complex: Nd(C 2 F 5 COO) 3 Á Phen, where Phen is 1,10-phenanthroline.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
