Synthesis, crystal structure, magnetic properties and second harmonic generation of a new noncentrosymmetric coordination compound: Triaqua(4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine) cuprate(II)sulfate
Abstract:The Cu(II) cation is five-coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of the 4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine ligand and three water oxygen atoms. The ligand molecules and the 5-connected Cu centers link each other to give a 1-D corrugated hybrid chain running along the b-axis direction.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
