Abstract:This study reports synthesizing and characterizing imidazolium‐based ionic liquids (ILs) using substituted benzoates as anions. Thermal stability of ILs described using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). One inherent property of ILs is aggregates or cluster formation due to supramolecular interactions.
