Abstract:In this work, a number of urethane‐modified polyesteramide (UmPEA) films were developed from mahua and castor oils, which are renewable resources. Mahua oil and diethanolamine were reacted to form mahua fattyamide, which was then reacted with itaconic acid to prepare polyesteramide. In order to make the UmPEA films, different proportions of polyesteramide and castor oil as polyols were reacted with isophoronediisocyanate. The UmPEA films showed excellent chemical resistance against water, acid, alkali, salt, a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
