“…Irrespective of the substitution nature (electron‐donating and electron‐withdrawing) of the aromatic aldehydes and diamines, these products were achieved in acceptable yields (entries 1−6), even though the presence of SO 2 on diamines and Br on hydroxyl‐aldehydes seemingly enhanced the reaction duration. Although there is no report for the synthesized bis‐Schiff base in this work for comparing our results with those obtained in the literature, comparison of our results with those reported in the synthesis of similar bis‐Schiff bases shows that ZnFe 2 O 4 NPs have been able to do this in water solvent rather than organic solvents with high yield in short reaction time.…”
