“…In the spectra of lanthanide complexes, the band due to N-H stretching vibration of metal free ligand is not affected precluding the involvement of NH group in coordination. The appearance of NH band in the IR spectra of complexes suggests that the ligand remains in keto form in coordination [34]. Strong bands observed at 1668 and 1623 cm -1 are respectively assigned to ν C=O and ν C=N vibrations.…”
