Abstract:Unsymmetrical Schiff base hydrazone complexes of cobalt(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II) were synthesized from oxalic dihydrazide, salicylaldehyde and ethyl acetoacetate. The ligand and its metal(II) complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, UV-visible, FT-IR, molar conductivity.
