Synthesis, Structural, and Magnetic Properties of Ba3(ZnxMg1-x)2Fe24O41 Z-Type Hexaferrites

Abstract: This article is concerned with the synthesis of high-quality (Mg, Zn)2Z hexaferrites. A series of the ferrites Ba3(ZnxMg1−x)2Fe24O41 (x = 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0) were prepared by high-energy ball milling and sintering at 1250 • C for 2 h.
