“…The theoretical effective magnetic moment of Nd 3+ , Sm 3+ , and Gd 3+ are 3.62, 1.74, and 7.94 per Ln 3+ ion. Further, θ Similar behavior has been observed in Na 5 Ln(SiO 4 ) 4 (OH)11 and the NaLn 9 (GeO 4 ) 6 O 2 series 40.…”

“…In contrast to the phosphate with apatite structure, the oxygen atoms O(4) are located at the 3.874 (19) centers of the triangles formed by Eu(2) atoms, apparently due to the larger radius of silicon atoms compared to phosphorus atoms. Similar results were reported earlier for Eu 8.18 Na 1.08 (SiO 4 ) 6 (OH) 1.62-2y O y [12], as well as NaLa 9 Ge 6 O 26 [21], NaPr 9 Ge 6 O 26 , and NaNd 9 Ge 6 O 26 [22]. e interatomic distances determined for the crystalline structure studied are given in Table 3.…”

“…62) with cell dimensions of a=1.15733 (12) nm, b = 0.65750 (7) nm, c = 0.53013(5) nm, V = 0.40340(7) nm 3 , Z=4. The asymmetric unit of NaEu-GeO 4 contains one symmetrically independent Eu site, one symmetrically independent Ge site, and one symmetrically independent Na site as shown in Figure 1 [28][29][30]41] The symmetrically independent Na site is located on the site of symmetry centre (Wyckoff position 4a). The CCDC reference number of NaEuGeO 4 at 1 atm is 846197.…”

“…[25][26][27] In recent years, the Ge analogues of some lanthanide silicates have been prepared. Most of these lanthanide germanates are synthesized under high temperature and high pressure conditions [28,29] or through high temperature solid state reactions or using fluxgrowth techniques, [30] but only a few of them were prepared under mild hydrothermal conditions. For example, our group synthesized K 3 LnGe 3 O 8 (OH) 2 ; Ln=Eu/Tb at 200 ℃, [31] which is a pure Ge counterpart of K 3 LnSi 3 -O 8 (OH) 2 ; Ananias et al [32] synthesized a series of mixed Si/Ge analogues of the chiral Na 3 [RESi 3 O 9 ]• 3H 2 O (RE=Y 3+ , Eu 3+ ) compounds between 150 and 230 ℃.…”
