“…As an extension of our systematic work on the organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides with polyazaheteroaromatic ligands under solvothermal conditions [30][31][32], we report herein the ionothermal case of three novel hybrid bromoplumbate complexes, namely, [(PMI) PbBr 3 ] n (1), [(AMI)PbBr 3 ] n (2) and [(HMI)PbBr 3 ] n (3) (PMI = 1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium, AMI = 1-allyl-3-methyl-imidazolium, HMI = 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium). Compounds 1-3 were all obtained by heating imidazolium bromide-based ILs with Pb(NO 3 ) 2 under ionothermal conditions, and characterized via X-ray singlecrystal diffraction, X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), FT-IR, elemental analysis, TG, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra, and solid-state photoluminescence measurements.…”

“…For this type of linkers, flexibility is typically introduced with the inclusion of alkyl chain spacer groups between the two benzotriazole units. Alkanes up to hexane have been a popular choice for these purposes, and several compounds have been reported with the respective ligands [121,[130][131][132][133][134][135][136][137][138][139]. It is worth noting that the use of all linkers in this category mostly produced CPs with low dimensionalities, particularly one-dimensional.…”
