With antimony, several ternary alkaline‐earth, rare‐earth metal, or uranium‐containing compounds such as RE 3 TiSb 5 ( RE =La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm),163 La 3 ZrSb 5 , La 3 HfSb 5 , LaCrSb 3 ,164 Sr 21 Mn 4 Sb 18 ,165 Eu 10 Mn 6 Sb 13 ,166 or U 3 TiSb 5 and U 3 MnSb 5 167 have been obtained in well crystallized form. For instance, the latter two antimonides were obtained with the atomic starting ratios U:Ti:Sb:Sn=1:3:2:6 and U:Mn:Sb:Sn=1:3:2:9 in alumina crucibles.…”
